More Firefly!

I've really enjoyed reading every issue of Astonishing X-men (most area available in graphic novel form), written by Joss Whedon. I'm sad to say that the final issue will hit the newstands within a few weeks, and then Joss is moving on to something new.

I was poking around the web to find out what Whedon is doing, and discovered that he is releasing a new limited series just for Firefly fans: Serenity: Better Days. Published by Dark Horse Comics, the three issues follow our favorite ship and crew in the days when they were all still together.

Another Chance to see Battlestar Galactica

If you missed the Best Science Fiction on Television the first time around, you now can see the entire first season of the new Battlestar Galactica without having to buy the DVD Boxed Set.

The SciFi Channel will be airing a Battlestar Galactica marathon, beginning at 7:00am on July 6th. Check you local listings for times, of course.

Don't forget: The Season Two Premiere (which resolves the major cliff-hanger) will air on Friday, July 15th.

Paul is reading...

It's been almost 20 years since Stephen R. Donaldson published book 3 of the Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. White Gold Wielder was a disappointing ending to a disappointing second trilogy. Donaldson claimed he put off writing the final trilogy until he was a better writer. I can't wait to see if it is as good as the first!
